If you want to learn to fly and save money, pass your FAA written examination first. Dr. Brooksby
highly recommends the use of the KING computerized exam to help prepare for
the examination. Order the one that costs $279.
It is also possible to download the Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Information
and the Airplane Flying Handbook. These are the books provided by the FAA that cover all of the information necessary to pass
your written exam. The Airplane Flying Handbook is the book that we will use as our syllabus as we fly. The Instrument
Flying Handbook and Instrument Procedures Handbooks can also be downloaded at the same link.
